Best Places to Work in South Carolina 2023

Brandon, a South Carolina-based, data-driven, integrated marketing agency, has been named among South Carolina’s best places to work for 2023 by SC Biz News. This is the agency’s sixth consecutive year being selected in the medium employer category.

One of 111 statewide honorees on this year’s list, Brandon has experienced a year of continued growth with new clients like Southern Point Co. and Geneverse Energy, Inc.; new hires and promotions in client services, media, and creative; and even an EMMY for Hurricane Ian response work.

“On behalf of Brandon, it is a privilege to be named among these talented South Carolina companies and organizations,” said Scott Brandon, CEO of Brandon. “Each day, everyone at Brandon rolls up their sleeves to help solve our client partners’ needs; but more importantly, we work hard to have each other’s backs with a dedicated team mentality. We’re in this together, and I couldn’t be more proud to lead this team.”

The best places to work program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best employers in the state of South Carolina for their positive contributions to the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Each year, nominated South Carolina companies receive this award based on a two-part process. First, the workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics are evaluated. Next, the employees are surveyed to measure the employee experience. The combined scores of each determine awardees and their rankings. Best Companies Group manages the overall registration and survey process, analyzes the data, and determines the final rankings.

Brandon has two office locations — Charleston and Myrtle Beach — in the state, though work-remote options are available company-wide, as teams collaborate across multiple offices to support clients in categories including travel and tourism, healthcare, financial, B2B, CPG, lifestyle apparel, outdoors, and more.
