Brandon Hires for Market Research and Media Teams


Brandon, a data-driven, digitally-centric, integrated marketing agency, recently added new junior talent to its collaborative team. Michael Garmone, junior market research assistant, is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, while Sydney Monckton, media coordinator, is located in Charleston, South Carolina.

The news comes on the heels of the agency’s recognition as part of this year’s “South Carolina Top Workplaces” and “Charlotte’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” lists.

Garmone, a University of Cincinnati graduate, brings a research design and analysis background from his most recent role at market research firm Ipsos. He relocated to the Carolinas, where he works closely with Brandon’s Chief Strategy Officer to help clients uncover brand-positioning opportunities and understand customer behavior.

“Michael is a valuable asset to our strategy and research team. He’s passionate about understanding the ‘why’ and has a talent for both designing research and uncovering fresh insights, which is important for all of our clients,” said Cary Murphy, chief strategy officer at Brandon.

Monckton is a University of South Carolina graduate and most recently worked in accounting at The St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado. As a media coordinator, she supports the agency’s media planning and buying teams for clients ranging from CPG to apparel.
