The Brandon Agency Introduces TBA Outdoors, New Subsidiary Focused in the Outdoor Industry

To be successful at marketing communications in the outdoor industry, you first have to live the outdoor lifestyle. That’s why The Brandon Agency harnessed its specialized expertise and recently launched TBA Outdoors—its newest subsidiary of outdoor industry gurus that deliver business-building ideas and a unique approach to the outdoor focused client sector. The agency is also pleased to announce the addition of TBA Outdoors’ new president, outdoor industry sales and marketing expert—Todd Fuller – as well as a new office location in Orlando, Fla. serving as the TBA Outdoors headquarters.

Not your average marketing agency, TBA Outdoors is comprised of a band of marketing brothers and sisters that are fully immersed in the outdoors. The team not only works outside, they live outside, making a seamless connection to consumer behavior. To be effective in this fast-changing niche industry, the agency combines its insider experience and marketing expertise to alter the agency model to specifically serve the need of outdoor industry clients. TBA Outdoors is results-driven and is focused on strong digital media presence, including high-performance ecommerce design and development, email drip campaign strategy and conversion optimization/tag management.

From helping develop and grow emerging brands to reinvigorating existing brands, TBA Outdoors has a proven track record of success for many national brands including Fish Hippie, Williams Knife Co., frogg toggs®, Blue Force Gear, Hook + Gaff Watch Company, Heybo Outdoors, Expiration 2050 and more.

Todd Fuller was hired as president of TBA Outdoors to lead this team of enthusiastic, outdoor brand strategists. Fuller brings over 20 years of marketing, sales, product development, retail and manufacturing experience along with an utmost appreciation of outdoor life. With over 15 years at Fuller’s North Branch Outing Club and Fuller’s Angling Adventures, Fuller operated a world-class fly-fishing business in Northern Michigan and Central Florida. The business provided accommodations, guide services and retail fly-fishing products. Fuller maintained a 70 percent customer retention rate, while developing and managing a successful guide service and retail shop.

Most recently, Fuller was responsible for the sales and marketing of the world’s finest shallow water skiffs, Hell’s Bay Boatworks. Fuller’s strategic business plan resulted in over 200 percent growth in sales volume over the past four years. Fuller’s strong work ethic and knowledge of the outdoors space will not only benefit the new subsidiary, but also expand the client roster and boost sales.

“We cannot say enough how fortunate we are to have Todd on board,” said Scott Brandon, CEO of The Brandon Agency. “We live, breathe and sleep outdoors, and we know that we have something special to offer the industry. To have the knowledge and understanding of the outdoors lifestyle, allows us to really put TBA Outdoors on the map. Todd will help lead us in our efforts.”

To accommodate the thriving subsidiary, The Brandon Agency added an eighth location to its global office network in Orlando, Fla. This office will serve as the TBA Outdoors headquarters where Fuller will lead the agency efforts.

“Orlando is centrally located in the Southeast and in the middle of a lot of bustling, outdoor industry activity,” said Todd Fuller, president of TBA Outdoors. “This office will allow us to expand our footprint and easily serve all of the hunting, fishing, boating and recreational industry businesses throughout the Southeast and beyond.”
