The Brandon Agency, the most creatively awarded agency in the Carolinas, was honored as the 28th Best Place to Work in South Carolina by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. This is the second consecutive year the agency was named to this prestigious list.

The Best Places to Work in South Carolina program was implemented as an exciting initiative dedicated to finding and recognizing South Carolina’s best employers. In 2017, 60 companies were recognized as the “most innovative, top-notch employers” where the Brandon Agency ranked No. 28 on this list.

“As a company we are often judged by the quality of our ideas and happy people simply have better ones, so the culture and work environment we have here at The Brandon Agency is very important to our success,” said Scott Brandon, CEO The Brandon Agency. “Making the best places to work list for the second year in a row is awesome and highlights how engaged we are with our entire team. It is proof that as a collective, we are living our brand on a daily basis.”

The Best Places to Work in South Carolina program was created 12 years ago, in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. Company rankings will be published in the August 2017 issue of SC BIZ Magazine.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a facility in the state of South Carolina
  • Have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of South Carolina
  • Be in business a minimum of 1 year

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. Secondly, employees participated in a detailed survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

The Brandon Agency has been the driving force behind many well-known brands including Fish Hippie, CresCom Bank, Santee Cooper, HTC, Williams Knife Co. and Brittain Resorts & Hotels, developing and delivering tangible results that positively impact business.
