SAFE Federal Credit Union needed to increase awareness of its mortgage products and services. The largest credit union in the midlands turned to The Brandon Agency, the only accredited brand strategy agency in the Carolinas, for their expertise in generating creative campaigns that help businesses grow.
As part of this effort, The Brandon Agency developed and launched a 2016 mortgage loan promotional campaign that leveraged multiple distribution channels including digital advertising, email marketing and traditional advertising on local TV stations, radio stations, newspapers and billboards.
This multi-layered campaign not only delivered results, but also won the esteemed Diamond Award for brand awareness from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council.
The two-month campaign focused on the benefits of getting a SAFE mortgage from the perspective of a dog who is looking for a home that fits its specific needs. The campaign portrays the dog exploring a house and addressing all of the comforts of the home that owners enjoy—knowing that it was possible with a SAFE loan.
The result-driven campaign generated almost 20 percent more loan business than expected and increased lending results exponentially.
