Brandon, a data-driven, digitally-centric, integrated marketing agency, has added Hunter McDonald and Casey Hauck to its media department. The new hires join a company regularly recognized by Charlotte Business Journal and Clutch as a top advertising agency. McDonald joins Brandon as an associate media planning director, and Hauck is joining as a media buyer.
McDonald joins the agency after a tenured background of full-suite media planning and buying. Previously, he was a paid social strategist for clients such as Anheuser Busch, Cincoro, and the YMCA. He has managed large-scale social media advertising, coordinated activations for brands that resulted in significant returns, and mentored team members learning the paid media industry. At Brandon, McDonald will also work directly with clients to plan and implement media strategies and propose new ideas and campaigns as well as strategize in the retail media space.
As Brandon’s newest media buyer, Hauck will negotiate and buy both traditional and digital media for clients. He is a veteran marketer, and his previous work includes media planning, media buying, project management, account management, consultation, and business development. In addition, Hauck has worked in the sports marketing, entertainment, finance, and healthcare industries. He graduated from Ohio Dominion University with a bachelor’s in communication and media studies.
“The advertising industry is constantly evolving, and our clients’ needs are changing just as quickly,” said Brandon’s Media & Analytics Director, Courtney Olbrich. “With Hunter and Casey’s exceptional skills and broad experience, we are confident they will bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to Brandon. We look forward to enhancing our media presence with them and continuing to help clients achieve their goals through paid media.”
