How long have you worked for Brandon?

I have worked with Brandon for 9 years — 3 years as an intern, and 6 years full time.

Could you share a few details about the favorite part of your role and/or the team at Brandon?

I love being able to figure out creative solutions to solve problems. I have a lot of freedom to try new things and see what works best. Things are always changing, so I enjoy that no one day is the same, and that I am presented with a new set of challenges and problems to solve — all while working with the best team.

What has kept you working here/ brought you here?

I love that Brandon allows me to be independent, and believes in setting me up for success. Being from the area, I was always familiar with the work that the agency had done, and I knew I wanted to be a part of something great. I have stayed working at Brandon for those reasons, in addition to personally being in alignment with the agency’s values.

How has your role/career changed over the time you’ve spent working at Brandon?

Throughout my time with Brandon, my role and responsibilities have evolved. I came to Brandon as a creative intern during my freshman year of college. I was able to learn the ropes of being a creative in an ad agency — getting to work with different types of clients and on a variety of projects. After joining the team full time after graduating, I have held the titles of Junior Art Director, Marketing and New Business Coordinator, Marketing and Production Manager, and now Senior Marketing Manager. It is cool to look back at how I have grown in my career, and how we have grown as an agency.

What stands out to you about the culture here at Brandon?

Brandon’s culture is one of inclusivity and empowerment. We are a strong team, are all hard-working, and can bring our own ideas to the table. The culture here is one that fosters growth and development, which is important to me as I grow in my career.

Is there a favorite project that you have worked on during your time here?

This is a hard one! I will go with memorable — when I was an intern, I worked with the team on some experiential marketing tactics for a local soccer team. We had a HUGE 6-foot soccer ball that I was tasked with stenciling the newly designed logo, as well as the message on all sides. We took the ball to the beach, where the players kicked it around with beachgoers. A pretty unforgettable day!

How has the agency evolved during your time here?

Our agency has truly evolved and taken off during my tenure. From acquisitions, to additional solutions offered, Brandon has advanced as the world around us has. We are here to serve our clients and ultimately provide solutions to help our clients grow, and to do that, we have to stay on top of trends and evolve with the ever-changing world.

How has your professional development been supported by Brandon? Any specific experiences you’d like to share?

Brandon has supported my professional development throughout my time here. A few years ago, I went to a three-month program in Atlanta where I attended multiple classes and was challenged to expand my skill set. I was able to return to the agency with new and improved skills, and put those to work.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside work?

I really enjoy being outside with my family and my rescue lab-mix, Gypsy. Whether it’s sitting on the porch, being at the farm, or relaxing on a boat on the water — you can find me there! I also enjoy perusing the aisles of a freshly restocked Home Goods or TJ Maxx, and trying new recipes.

If you didn’t work in Marketing/Advertising, what would you be doing?

I think I would be an interior designer. I love trying to find pieces to complete a space and tie it all together.
