This January, The Brandon Agency’s Creative Director Pat Harris teamed up with the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Lexington, Ky., to help judge entries for its 2014 American Advertising Awards, an annual event that honors creative excellence in the field of advertising. This year, the AAF of Lexington received a record number of entries and judging took place on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Additional judges for the award event included Jason Wright, the vice president and creative partners at The Buntin Group (Nashville, Tenn.) and Matt Cheuvront, chief executive office of Proof Branding (Nashville, Tenn.)
Winners will be announced on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at the Lyric Theater in Lexington.

“Lexington’s submissions included a lot of smart creative work, including strong lateral thinking especially in regard to digital and social media campaigns,” said Harris. “There was a great attention to detail and craft, and it was a pleasure to serve as a judge.”
