The Brandon Agency Continues to Grow, Adding Four New Team Members to Its Media Department


The Brandon Agency, the largest and most awarded privately held integrated marketing communications firm in the Carolinas, has expanded its media department with the addition of two media planner/buyers and two media coordinators.

Courtney Olbrich joins The Brandon Agency as a senior media planner and buyer, providing support for the agency’s clients, including Athens Foods, CBL & Associates Properties, COIT, CresCom Bank, Dunes Golf & Beach Club, Duplin Winery, Easy Auto, FLX Media, Frogg Toggs and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. The focus of this position is to develop overall media plans and strategy and research potential media needs to achieve overall marketing goals.

Joining the agency from CBS Detroit as an advertising account manager, Olbrich’s tenured experience elevates the level of expertise The Brandon Agency is able to offer clients. In her previous role, Olbrich assisted in leading the station’s advertising efforts, creating customized marketing campaigns for clients. Additionally, she worked as a marketing and promotions manager at CBS Detroit and as a marketing coordinator for Little Caesars Fundraising Program.

Kim Wilson, media planner and buyer, joins the agency to support client work for CBL & Associates Properties, COIT, FTC, Heybo, Newland, SAFE Federal Credit Union, True Blue Golf Club and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. In this role, Wilson will develop media plans across a variety of markets and mediums.

Wilson has an extensive media planning background with more than eight years of experience gained at Columbia, S.C.-based Chernoff Newman and Greenville, S.C.-based Infinity Marketing.

Alex Hagg and Chelsey Strife join The Brandon Agency in the role of media coordinators. In this position, each will provide fundamental assistance to the media department in the areas of client support, market research and administrative duties.

Hagg is a 2015 communications graduate from the College of Charleston and previously worked as an editorial intern at Charleston Magazine. She also gained experience working on the social media team at Southern Protocol and served as a writer for Flawed and Fabulous.

Strife is a 2015 marketing graduate from Coastal Carolina University. Prior to joining The Brandon Agency, Strife gained experience working for Coastal Carolina University as an operations assistant in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, as well as in the marketing department for Myrtle Beach-based Bijuji Boutique.
