We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Buyer to join our growing team. The Media Buyer is responsible for working with the Media Director, Media Planners and Ad Operations Specialist to execute paid media buys. This includes but is not limited to having a working understanding of how media plans are put together, understanding client goals, negotiating, and placing traditional and digital media buys, having insights into how the media is performing, making optimizations and recommendations, facilitating reporting, and working with accounting on billing and reconciling invoices. The person must be organized, financial minded, process-driven, proficient in Excel, a problem solver and able to multitask.

Responsibilities for this role:

  • Create and manage media buys on all platforms from negotiation through placement, trafficking, optimization, and post-buy analysis
  • Develop frequent and consistent tracking and analytics reports, including insights and recommendations
  • Present campaign insights, performance recommendations and reporting both internally and at times to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors
  • Work with vendors and account managers to ensure creative deadlines and assets are delivered for on-time campaign launch
  • Ensure that all campaigns and orders meet budgets monthly
  • Process invoices and work with media vendors, account managers and accounting to resolve any questions and/or issues

Qualifications for this role:

  • Must have 1-3 years of agency media buying experience. Paid social media buying experience a plus
  • Proficiency in STRATA, SQAD, SRDS, Social Ad Platforms (Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit), Microsoft Office Business Suite, Google Suite, Workamajig, Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to independently analyze e and solve problems
  • Excellent math skills
