The Brandon Agency Works With PGA TOUR Star Dustin Johnson

On April 17, The Brandon Agency worked with PGA TOUR star Dustin Johnson to shoot a 30-second television commercial showcasing his talents and love for the Myrtle Beach area. The shoot took place at TPC Myrtle Beach and coincided with Johnson being named the official spokesperson for the golf marketing cooperative, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, for the rest of 2011.

“I am honored to be associated with Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and help them promote the area,” said Johnson, a four-time PGA TOUR champion and the 12th ranked player in the world. “It truly is one of the world’s top golf destinations, and has so much to offer in the way of beaches, restaurants, nightlife and even shopping.  I can’t think of a better place for a golf vacation, and I’m proud to now be able to spread the word.  Regardless of where I reside, Myrtle Beach will always feel like home.”

Johnson is widely regarded as a rising superstar in the world of professional golf. His image has graced the cover of virtually every major golf publication in the country in the last year and his cool demeanor and laid back style is a perfect fit for the Myrtle Beach golf lifestyle fans will see in the coming months with his commercials promoting the “Golf Capital of the World.”

Johnson attended Coastal Carolina University, and in 2007, he was named an NCAA First-Team All-American. He was also a member of the 2010 United States Ryder Cup team and finished fourth on the PGA TOUR money list in 2010 with nearly $4.5 million in earnings. His four PGA TOUR victories included two wins at Pebble Beach (2009-10), a win at the 2008 Turning Stone Championship and 2010 BMW Championship. He is the first player since Tiger Woods to record three PGA TOUR victories in the first three years on tour.
